Hildegard of Bingen, the medieval polymath, healer and saint, recommended a morning cup of thyme tea to “enliven spirits and overall well being.” Traditional healers have historically prized thyme for its high thymol and volatile oil content in promoting respiratory wellness.

We hand-harvest our thyme in June when the plant’s antioxidant phenols are at their peak. Immediately after harvest, the wild herbs are rushed to a temperature-controlled air dryer located in an alpine village chosen for its pristine, oxygenated breezes.

Our thyme undergoes a quick drying process under a special protocol. This preserves its delicate volatile oils, which not only infuse it with a delightful aroma but also safeguard its full range of botanical benefits – a delicious cup of wellness.

Caffeine Content: Naturally Caffeine Free
Taste: A member of the mint family, our organic thyme tea has an aromatic flavor with a slightly tangy bite.
Thyme Tea Benefits: Healthy respiratory system. *
Quality: USDA Certified Organic, Gluten Free, Pharmacopoeia Potency, Certified Vegan, Zero Calories
How to prepare and serve: Infuse with hot spring water for 15-20 minutes. Strain and enjoy warm.  Pairs well with a touch of lemon and raw honey.

  1. Delicious Tea! Actually Stopped my Coughing.

  2. I’ve had almost every tea they have. Every one is so good and warming. My husband loves them too! I’ve been fighting an infection for seven weeks now. And this tea brand has helped cheer me up, console my body and my spirit. Everyday I look forward to my next cup. And if I don’t finish a cup, I place it in the fridge to add to my glass of ice water during the day!

TEA BREWING 101

How to Make the Perfect Cup of Tea…

There’s a reason why tea preparation is considered an art form in parts of the world. How you brew your tea affects the taste. We use loose tea over pre-packaged sachets because loose tea provides better infusion.

To get the most flavor and vitality from your tea, follow these simple steps:

Water at the source. Spring or filtered tap water assures the purest taste. Fill the kettle.
Warm the pot. Bring water to a boil. Pour a small amount into your teapot to warm. After a minute or two, discard water in pot.
Select your tea. Measure loose tea into pot, allowing 1 teaspoon (2-3 grams) per cup.
Add water. Pour boiling water over tea, using one cup (8 ounces) water per teaspoon of tea.
Steep. Cover the pot and steep tea for 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve. Strain, serve and enjoy!

How to serve. Wild Bliss Organics teas may be served warm or cold. To maximize tea benefits, drink three cups a day for two weeks, followed by a one week break.
